    The underlying claim is that people’s mental processes fall under these behaviors and from observation it appears that there are four pairs of functions. It is these functional stacks that determine the 16 buckets/types and not any sort of dichotomy.

    So the ISTJ in the image is a person that has the stack of Si Te Fi Ne, and their primary mode of processing is relating to past experience, and to ensure that things have tangible purpose and impact.
